Automotive user interface prototyping
With its concept cars, the automotive industry is frequently pushing the field of prototyping to its limits. Our hosts bring in their professional experience in both the automotive sector and the development with vvvv.
One Sentence: Whats happening in your workshop?
We will use car related (realtime) data to generate content for automotive interfaces.
Who is the target audience of your workshop?
Anyone with interest in design, data visualization or prototyping.
What will attendees of your workshop learn?
You will learn how easy it is to prototype design ideas. You can use our CarSensorData package and learn how to generate dynamic content (e.g. Speed in the Head-Up-Display).
Depending on the hardware we will be able to provide (original steering wheel, USB gaming pedals, LED-stripes, automotive displays, distance sensors, etc) you can create, combine and test interaction concepts.
If you think in the future of car interface is no place for displays, we will challenge you to display speed only with light.
If you are more interested in setting up your own DataPackage we will help you to simulate automotive data sets.
