Peter Kirn is a musician and creative technologist. He is publisher of CDM, a daily source of music and visual technology information, and he co-produces the MeeBlip open source hardware synthesizer. As an electronic musician and media artist, he has collaborated with Nerk (Snork Enterprises, V-Records), Robert Lippok (raster noton), and others, has produced music ranging from techno to experimental, club to work with modern dance, and he has released music both under his own name and in the projects Imaski and Alchemic Harm. He also builds workshops and platforms for collaboration including the MusicMakers Hacklab. In the fall of 2016, he is teaching a series of case studies in music technology entrepreneurship at New York University Berlin.
